View Full Version : Why is Dave canceling gigs?

I have seen two David Lee Roth shows get advertised and then canceled, by Dave, so far this year. I know on his last tour he canceled the rest of the tour due to his injury. Then the first show this year he canceled because of his knee surgery. Now he is trying to get out of the Moondance Jam.

Does anyone know what is going on there?

Is this normal for Dave to do things like booking shows, letting them get advertised, then backing out?

He is busy taking singing lessons from Sammy before he hits the road again....Needs to relearn those VH songs from the master

Because Eddie gets drunk and phones Dave each month, then changes his mind!!

Okay... its sad... and it hurts reading it. But then when I get passed that it pisses me off too. Not at the fans for low ticket sales. After all, how many fans actually knew there were even tickets for sale? How long ago was the show booked?

Does anyone know why Dave decided to do the Eugue Oregon thing at the last moment? Do you know who was originally scheduled to do the damn thing?

And does anyone know if THAT gig is still on. I went on tickets west today to pick up tickets... even though a fair gig is the last place I wanted to see Dave... and was not able to purchase them. Just for grins and giggles, I tried to get tics for Hoobastank on the 16th and couldn't get them either though, so maybe its just tickets west is fucked up?

But then I think Moose is the one who posted "What, no Oregon... sumptins up!"

Anybody talked to Ray lately?

"Why is Dave canceling gigs?"

The "Spirits" told him too...and he does it every other tour...in an odd year...without a leap year......
