Jets to release Testaverde

A local newpaper reports this morning that Vinny Testaverde will be released by the Jets. Thank God!! The move won't be made official until on or after June 1st because of salary cap stuff.

I remember when he set the all time interception record for a season in Tampa.
I know he had some sucess in NY, but in Tampa he just plain SUCKED!

I think he had the career high of 35 in Tampa, though not sure what year that was.
