    Patriots: Flutie joins the champs

    News
The Patriots added an experienced quarterback to their stable on Friday when they signed 85-year-old Doug Flutie. The two sides agreed on a one-year deal, but financial terms of the contract weren't disclosed, reports the Associated Press. "Doug brings us additional veteran experience and depth at the quarterback position," head coach Bill Belichick was quoted as saying.

If Flutie sees any meaningful minutes during the season it would because of an injury to Tom Brady, and the NFL won't let that happen.

          LOL

I wish I could take credit for it.

Just thought the shorter version was funnier than the longer story.

He must be going to be their #3 man, behind Brady and Davey.

Agree ... just probably wants one good last ride ... be on a potential SB winner I guess.

I doubt very much he has much left in the tank really.

I liked Doug, dumbass Wade Phillips was a total tard for benching him in favor of Johnson in that playoff game against the Titans. The Bills might have won that game and there never would have been a "Music City Miracle."

                  Yep, a bad move indeed.

Johnson burned more than one coach with his talent, but could never stay healthy and his talent failed to translate into the games.

I always liked Flutie. It's cool he's back in New England for probably his last year.

                      Quarterback controversy...

                      he's better than Brady...
"Van Halen was one of the most hallelujah, tailgate, backyard, BBQ, arrive four hours early to the gig just for the parking lot bands. And still to this day is. It's an attitude. I think it's a spirit more than anything else is."

Hey! I went to High School with him! I am much younger though, I'm only 83.
