Hey Mezro...who are you to be calling out 3LR....dude...dont be a dickhead....I know you worship the ground DLR walks on but for some reason I cant figure out why,,.,

Perhaps it is due to the following reasons;

1. You think DLR quit VH....well asswipe he was fired plain and simple

2. You think DLR is or was influential in defining music of th 80's/90's.. He wasnt, Ed was the king who started VH and who wrote the tunes hence he created the music. DLR was a mouthpiece in a great band where pretty much anyone could have filled his spot and done it even better (Need I speak of the Red Rocker himself).

3. DLR puts out great music today (Again, he hasnt been relevant since he announced his firing in 1985).

Im sorry, DLR is way overpromoted as having done anything worthwhile in the music scene..Yes he had some good quotes but his singing ability absolutely sucks big time

1)we don't know for sure what happened asswipe, it's what the van halen camp say versus what dave says. and at this point, dave is looking like the one to believe...

2)if you'll notice the writing credits, ALL FOUR MEMBERS ARE CREDITED WITH WRITING THE MATERIAL. dave didn't just write the lyrics, he had a hand in the music portion as well. van hagar's popularity (and also album sales) went down with each subsequent album...

3)Sam has never been relevant. nobody ever hears pre or post van hagar spam outside of that shithole cabo. i hear post vh dave on the radio all the time...

compared to the cheddar rockers singing ability, dave 's singing sounds like "a million bucks." (to paraphrase dave)...
