Classic Van Halen(de only Van Halen) Tribute Album...Wella wella wella...

Ize likes to see a cool, cool tribute album released of Classic or Real Van Halen toons vetted up by the likes of Audioslave, The Black Crowes, The White Stripes, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, The Hives, T-Model Ford, R.L.Burnside, Jon Spencer and The Blues Explosion, Little Richard, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Chris Thomas King, Steady Rollin' Bob Margolin, Velvet Revolver, Jeff Beck, Beck, Muddy Waters, Jr., Henry Townsend, The Rolling Stones, The Who, James Brown, Black Oak Arkansas, and BB King.

What tunes would you likes to see hopped up? Who would you like to hear workin' up some Van Davin'?? No 80's clowns(like the Red Rocka or Poison).

One good thing about this nightmare tour that Sambo and the Van Halen sistahs jus' completed. Well, not really good, but Cherona is suddenly not the worst player in the Van Halen world--it is definitely the Tubby Capri Pants Sportin' Poodle Heeded Troll Screecher Lyrically Felonious Tequila Salesman 5foot8 Male Impersonator Sham Artist!!!!!!

A good tribute album needs to be rollin' in the great wheel of song fo' sho' nah yez yez yez...well well wella...Awww Hell Yeah!!! Yez Yeah!!

lol you should see the description of the album thingy. Says, A tribute to Roth era Van Halen, which all guitarists agree was the best.
The name Sammy Hagar conjures up a variety of emotions from music fans--from hate to contempt, from disgust to revulsion.

i would like to see Velvet Revolver doing Everybody wants some that would be really cool.

Audioslave doing atomic punk with Tom Morello doing those sound effects with the guitar at the start of the song. That would be cool to.

Slightly off-a topic nah, but I can hear Beck revvin' up a funk version of,"She's My Machine." Ize likes to hear Bob Dylan's take on Everybody Wants Some. Bluesin' it up yeah yeah nah!!

Howza bout ZZ TOP throwin down on a couple tunes????

Hot For Teacher (Heard it on the X) or Bottoms Up ( LaGrange)

I think Rev. Billy could throw in the proper Down-Home groove to those tunes.

                        yezah.. yezah...

                              Couple more:

Love/Hate doing Mean Street (imagine Jizzy Pearl's voice on that one)

                              Alice in chains doing Secrets
