    VH respected at 80s night

at a pub I go to, they had an 80s night last night. I spent most of the time trying to persuade him to play some Van Halen(they are less huge over here),but after awhile he finally did. And suddenly Jump is blaring out throughout the pub. I dunno why but I felt really proud and it was like recognition at last for something I've always know, Van Halen rock!!!!!

I was also wearing my KISS shirt and this italian barman started talking to me about how carnival of lost souls was actually a good album.

but seriously it was a really kool feeling, cos ive never seen vh/dlr live, and its the loudest, and to the biggest audience, ive ever heard vh played too, I just felt proud.

its one a month, I'll be back next month for Panama

"Jump" is a good party song. I'm only 18 and the last party i went to consisted of 16,17,18 year olds, some girl i knew put "Jump" on (by choice) and then everyone was up and dancing. "Hot For Teacher" came on too and got cheers, as most had never heard it before but agreed it was rockin'!

It's always a great site and feeling to see a large group of people rockin out to VH or any great older band especially if they are younger.

Yip, and especially if you're a big CVH fan and all these young rock loving guys are digging it, but then again, who wouldn't?
