It’s all but a matter of time before Georgie Steinburner fires the quiet man Joe Torre. So, lets have a prediction thread. To win, Torre has to be fired on or before the date predicted. Winner gets an autographed Jesterstar shirt and a tour of Brett’s apartment.

If anyone is fired, it should be Cashman first...
Last time I checked, the GM (with Steinbrenner's approval I might add) is the one making the deals for those geezers...
But I acknowledge as well, it wouldn't surprise me to see Joe go either...

The problem with the Yanks is those cats are getting old. They've all peaked a few years back, and now simultaneously are on the decline.
To say it's Torre's fault is ridiculous. Steinbrenner knew what he was getting into when Ca$hman made those deals. Torre is a class act and everyone in baseball will agree with that. Even Red Sox fans.

Absolutely VanZ!!
Torre is, without a doubt, one of the BEST managers in Yankee history! Right up there with Casey, Miller Huggins, Ralph Houke...
