ALICE COOPER Begs For Bond Role [Rock Hard - 05.05.16 13:35:20]

ContactMusic.com has issued the following report:

Rocker ALICE COOPER has begged movie bosses to cast him as superspy James Bond's arch enemy in upcoming 007 movie Casino Royale.

The ‘School’s Out’ star doesn't care whether Pierce Brosnan, Daniel Craig or Clive Owen take on the coveted role, as long as he plays the suave secret agent's nemesis.

He explains, "I've played Freddy Krueger’s dad in Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare, I was in the John Carpenter horror film Prince Of Darkness and I appeared in Wayne’s World.

"I'd love to be a Bond villain, maybe Blofeld’s grandson. I'd be perfect as I'm the consummate villain of rock 'n' roll."

I think Alice Cooper wrote theme songs for one of the movies. They wouldn't let him sing it for some reason.

Let him do it.

I mean, who gives a shit.

Bond died when Connery quit.

I still watch the shit, but just to see what gets blowed up.

"The consummate villain of rock and roll"? Give me a fucking break! Besides the fact that Alice Cooper has been nothing more than a parody of himself since the late '70's, the fucking asshole can't act. Cooper trying to tout his acting ability is almost as stupid as his recent remarks that his new album would be as good as the early '70's stuff that he and the original band wrote and recorded, but which Alice is more than happy to take all the credit for.
BTW, the neocon ex-rocker did take it upon himself to record a song called "Man With The Golden Gun" in 1973 (it was on "Muscle Of Love", the last album with the group before he and manager Shep Gordon fucked them over).hoping it would be used in the movie of the same name. The Bond people chose Lulu to sing the theme for the movie instead. That should have told him something.

Sad part is watching older stars like Cooper and Osbourne willingly lining up to sell out their image to corporatized interests, 'specially those who were famous in the early seventies, when it was considered good form for a rock star to have an anti-authoritarian streak.

Here here:

Sean Connery was by far the best Bond, but James Lazenby, the first Bond in On Her Majesty's Secret Service with Diana Rigg as the Countess, This one is my most fav,

Pierce Brosnan and Timothy Dalton are my least fav actors trying to be Bond, plus the newer movies are getting too depressing.

Who can beat Pussy Galore?

Best,

LT

Timothy Dalton is a fucking disgrace as Bond.

And Roger Moore?
He looked liked like a corpse in the last one he did.

Man he was always just this suave, rich playboy motherfucker who just happened to be "007". He was a fucking pussy (though the movie "Live & Let Die" is one of my alltime faves.

But Sean Connery was the SHIT!!!! He was RUTHLESS!!!

In the first few films, Sean Connery would kill the living fuck out of anyone who tried to mess with him.

Even though Roger Moore was theoretically playing 007, he was too worried about getting his Brooks Brothers suit slightly dirty, or perhaps messing his hair up....

Sean Connery was the fucking shit, hands down.

Sean was the ONLY Bond...and he's voiced interest in returning to the franchise as a villain in an upcoming film :)

Which would be FUCKING SWEET!

I always appreciated Timothy Dalton as an actor, liked his movies, but I didn't like him as Bond. Had the scripts been better, who knows...? As far as Roger Moore was concerned, I liked the movies, but found myself wishing Sean was doing the role still.

Speaking of Connery, he had a wonderful wit as Bond,

One of my favorite scenes from a 007 film was when he was spying on Goldfinger from the model of Fort Knox, and Ms. Galor sneaks up and pulls his feet out from under him, and he falls, but instantly rebounds, turns and smiles broadly and says (as if greeting an old friend)..... Pussy!

Killer funny.
