we all know dave wasn't a big fan of keyboards in van halen. (because people wanted to see the king of the 6 string on the guitar, not that keytar.)

my guess was it was control over the overall direction of the music.

dave wouldn't have done when it's love or dreams.

yes, he did jump, but that was a high-energy tune. (and he was still probably not a huge fan of it.) and he did secrets, but that had solid guitar work.

but a ballady keyboard track? nah. dave wouldn't have done that. and it looks like ed wanted to.

the keyboards only sucked in van hagar.. I think if they were to used the keys on 1984, and then would of headed back to they're rock roots (with roth) everything would of been alright They would of ruled the world.. But mr magic fingers couldn't get out of bed.. And when he did, it became van hagar...

how would it have been better with ed? vai is a better musician than ed and if ed was in it his sister would of had to tag along because they cant seperate and mike would have felt left out so it would have been a vh cd. the point is the eeas and skysraper band was the most massive band ever each member is in the top 25 of their instuments and dlr is the best frontman
