These days, there are times you wonder why Eddie was ever such a big deal.

then you see something like that, and are reminded all over again why he was and always will be.

EXCELLECT CLIP!!! THANKS!!!

Outstanding!

Did you hear the way he made that horse whinneying sound?

That's some atmospheric destruction right there. Dare I say, one of the most identifiable tones in rock guitar history!

Always cool to see that one.

Pisses me off that the fickel VH bros haven't given us more great VH footage. I'm sure there's tons of nice stuff they've got stashed away, hording it.

I think from memory it was recorded on an old 8mm cine camera. There is a little more but not much as I remember.

The quality isn't too good and I'm not sure I could sit through an hour of that in any case.

The bootleg people like Cato will be able to tell you more.

Cheers!

That's exactly what they are...:)

Who needs the 4th best FLAC bootleg of the DD tour?

It's like stamp collecting to these people but god bless them because every so often the people who live on Planet Earth benefit from their work...:D

Cheers!

Hiya, I'm Cato, everybody's friend.

the story I heard about this footage is it was filmed by a roadie, for private use.

my copy is 20~25 minutes long and it's also knockz(=shitty).

Shit should've kept reading all the posts. Hey Cato, who cares about the quality, just post the thing so we can see the rest of it.
Cheers

Ive not watched this clip. This was the first time. And it felt like the first time all over again. The tone, the energy, the style.

Thats what made me want to play the guitar, better. Its better than sex. Its better than an alcohol buzz. Its better than your first kid or best friend.

That, army friends, is what life is about for me.

Umm sorry guys, I love eddie as much as anyone, but as shitty as his solo was on the last tour, it was better than that.

Uhh no, I r not kidding. You want to see a real kickass Eddie solo? Rent Live Without a Net. None of that half assed eruption and "trying" to get feedback by making as much rubbish noise as possible to no avail.

Of course he has other good solos, but I think all those years of hard playing and creative writting culminated into one brilliant cacophony in the Live Without a Net video.

fuck...

i can't get it to load...

also, you punk bitch toungeNass. that solo on live without a net sucks, it's simply a rehashing of the US festival solo with a shittier and tamer sound...

the Us festival is so far, The greatest fucking solo i've ever heard by the king (it may just be me, but once the mean street intro part starts up, those slides he hits give me goosbumps every fucking time) the fucking sound and balls to the wall i'm gonna play whatever i want attitude...

as soon as spam came into the band, he fucking went into the comfort zone and wasn' t pushed into creating a new solos/licks/riffs, just rehashings of old glories...
