Following on from their highly successful European Tour in January 2005, Thin Lizzy return with their long awaited and highly anticipated Greatest Hits DVD, released by Mercury Records on July 4, 2005.

Even just saying the words The Boys Are Back in Town is likely to get their chart-topping hit stuck in your head for days. With their anthemic, working class songs led by relentlessly blistering twin guitars, this officially endorsed Thin Lizzy DVD is sure to satisfy the most demanding hard rock fans.

Featuring all the classics, including the original pop promo videos for The Boys Are Back In Town, Waiting For An Alibi, Chinatown, Bad Reputation and many more, this milestone DVD collection brings alive the music and legacy of all things distinctly Lizzy! The DVD also boasts rare live footage including Whiskey In The Jar recorded on BBC Top Of The Pops in 1973.

Mixed for the first very time in stunning Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound, this essential DVD package is an outstanding document from one of the greatest rock 'n'roll bands.

Even since the tragic death of Phil Lynott in 1986, Thin Lizzy have continued through the hard times and now, more than ever, have influenced a new generation of contemporary rock bands, spearheaded and championed by The Darkness.

"The jutebox in the corner blasting out my favorite song,
The night's are getting warmer it won't be long,
Won't be long till summer comes,
Now that those boys are here again."

Awesome lyrics.
Awesome song...
Was one of the main reasons why I bought a chorus pedal.

There never really was a video or (as far as I know) a T.V. appearance for COWBOY SONG.

Hiya, I'm Cato. everybody's friend.

I have a video of cowboy Song, filmed at the rainbow theatre, in 1978.
it's an outtake of the Live & Dangerous VHS/DVD. grate performance.
whenever I see it I wonder why it was not included there.
