    Home Studio Highlights. Whatcha Got?

So here's a brief rundown of my no frills home studio equiptment. Very analog and old school but it does the job.

Tascam 388 8 track reel to reel recorder.
    SM- 58 Shure
    Ibenez Digital delay rack
    Quadraverb GT rack
    Microverb, Microgate,Microlimiter
    Boss DR-220 drum mach.
    TDK dual CD Burner
    Casio keys
    Oberheim Matrix 1000
    Telefunken Monitors

    FG-410A Yamaha acoustic
    Fender Strat Electric
    Vantage Bass Electric
    Pearl Kit
    Gibson Sonar Electric

I won't bother listing all the extras. Pedals, percussion etc.

If I could post one of my demo's you would dig it. i don't know how.

Anyway let's see what you got so I can see how outdated I am.

    Love,

    Rubby

Absolutely! I used to be excellent but I am more into Guitar and writing music these days. I still play but since I don't have the microphones or the soundproofing I find the drum machine more suitable for the job when recording.

So what are you recording on? Or are you not.

Hope you're not one of those cut and paste musicians.

I got shit in the way of home recording pieces, got burglarized last year.

i'm fine with it though, all I had was shit anyways - tascam porta-one 4 track cassette with the VU meters built in. Some mics, etc.

A Tascam Porta one is a fun machine. First multi track I owned. Wish I still had it.

They go for around 65 on Ebay

I have to get another one because of tapes I made I need to dump to hard disk..

Anything you can just load and go the fastest is the best thing to use: I have found that having expensive gear around that's got a large learning curve with it, doesn't get used.

                            - especially if you have to work full time to pay for the enjoyment of having it collect dust.
