Sinatra, Dino...The Rat Pack!

Ok, for those that didn't figure...I'm ITALIAN.

What I'd like to know is, do you any of you listen to Frank Sinatra and/or Dean Martin? I do, ALOT...and not just because of my Guineaness, its great music!! You can sing to it, dance to it, bang to it, it is ALL-PURPOSE music!! I so wish that I could have seen these guys or been around in the early 60's when they were Da Shit!!

I saw Sinatra at the Long Beach Arena in February of 1991. I would not have missed it for the world!

I also saw Tony Bennett at a theater in Kansas City in 1997.

He kicked ass!!!!

Yeah I have been a Sinatra fan since I lived in L.A.
The guy who was my roomate at the time had met Frank once, as his mother had gone to high school with Frank Sinatra's wife. Anyway, my roommate began to educate me in the kickassedness of The Chairman Of The Board, and I have been a fan ever since.

In the realms of bootleg video, there is some film I would LOVE to have....

Back in 1960 they appeared at The Sands casino in Vegas at night while filming Oceans 11 by day. There was a biogrpahy by A & E channel some years ago, where they had a bunch of film footage from those performances, but of course they were just clips, many of which had voiceovers over the top of them.

I would love to have, say one evening's performance on video from start fo finish, unedited, etc.

Obviously there was a lot of film of those shows, or else there would not have been so much material shown on that A & E show.

Oh well.

Those 1960 performances you spoke of while they were filming Oceans 11 were a main portion of the 1998 movie "The Rat Pack" with Ray Liotta playing Sinatra.

I agree, those performances would be nice to have seen or see.
