    I always thought it would be a good idea to like get the CVH songs that Van Hagar does in concert remove the voice of the single most worst replacement lead singer in history and add CVH songs that dave does in his concerts nowadays. For example the musical part in the Gary Chreone version of unchained is pretty good but the singing sucks, just remove cherones voice from the track with software then add Dave's version of unchained on one of his solo tours. If anyone knows how to do this this would be wonderful additon to the Army Audio Library! This could be the closet thing we get to hear what a reunion sounds like

      It would be hard to accomplish this since Ed has forgotten how to play "Unchained" as of late....

                                              Ive heard some vocal removers that work. They work by putting
                                              the vocals 180 degrees out of phase with the opposite channel.
                                              Resulting effect is the two stereo vocal channels cancel each other
                                              out. These things also cancel any instrument that was recorded
                                              in the same way as the vocals..

                                              As for removing Dave from a live recording, to paste onto the
                                              de-spammed music. I think you are shit out of luck unless the
                                              gig was multi tracked - mixed and you have the master tapes..
