Take your pick from "Rage for order" (mega techno metal on the pompous side of Judas Priest), "Operation:Mindcrime" (breakthrough concept album), "Empire" (slightly more commercial but still superb) or "Promised land" (really dark Pink Floyd meets techno metal aural landscapes).

They`re all awesome albums and the best place to start.

You got it Badguy: 4 of my favorite albums ever!

Mezro...Rage does it for me...way, way, way ahead of its time...still sounds fresh today...

They're opening for Priest here tomorrow, I'll post a poignant review of the entire drunkathon.

Right On dude....if it were not in the middle of the week, I would be there as well.

As it is, I am just hoping they book a date in Gnashville on the second leg....

I never got into Promised Land, maybe I should go back and give it another go.

                      Love the other three though.

                      Cheers!

                        Here's my poignant review.

                        Victim of changes.

                        Glenn Tipton?

                        Beyond The Realms of Death?

                        K.K. Downing?

                        I missed Queensryche.

I must assume Glenn did his patented "One-Note Guitar Solo" during VOC.

I mean, come on...dragging that out for 5 minutes? Give me a fucking break.

One of the very few things that have always bugged me about their live performances...

Haha....you're not far off the mark on that one.

"Beyond The Realms Of Death" was probably the highlight of the show, personally. Tipton seemed to be kickin' KK's ass as far as spot-on deliveries went. I was too busy evading security to get a solid set-list memorized, but it was a pretty good mix. Very loud, VERY CLEAR....

Here's a few shitty pics from my camera phone.
