Omega Man....
BRILLIANT!!!!
Somebody should be working on a remake, more closely based on the novel "I AM LEGEND".
And they better give Chuck a cameo!!!
I actually thought I heard rumors of an Omega Man remake with Ah-nold & Ridley Scott. Logan's Run was a rumored remake too.

I remember being too young to see Logan's Run at the theater in the '70's!:o
And the Television series wasn't quite "up to snuff"!
The 70's were So strange!:D
Heard about the Omega remake years ago. Arnold would be better for the role now, seeing that he's aged a bit and isn't the muscle-man of the past. RS would do a KILLER version!
Yeah, but both are dead now. According to imdb Leonardo DiCaprio was the rumored to play Logan....

Anyone ever see that SNL skit about the attempt to make sequels to Soylent Green, with Hartman as Heston?
"Soylent Green is still people! Aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrghh!"

I also have heard rumours that they were going to remake The Omega Man.
I Tivo'd 2001 and Logan's Run. Watched the second half of 2001 last night. Been a long time since I saw it.
When it came out in 1968, I wonder how many hippies saw it in the theater while having a meltdown on LSD???
Man that movie was a trip....
Tonight I will watch Logan's Run. Thank Larg for TCM...showing films in their entirety with no butchering or commercials!!!
