The reason it sucked is that a) It is fun to dance to, but boring to listen to on your home stereo, b) 99% of disco has no guitars, c) was mostly recorded using session musicians, d) is mindless crap.


There. Those good enuff reasons for ya?

Disco To me just doesn't seem that bad to me. I mean at least back then they at least played their instruments unlike 50 cent and all these other "Rappers".

BTW anyone else think Dance The Night Away was kind of written as a disco song I just think so for some reason. Even though It defintley does not have a Disco style beat to it though. Thoughts?

The thing about disco that really sucked was that artists from other genres tried to put out disco songs to have a hit because it was flavor of the month.

Like Kiss, and their bullshit attempt to cash in on a trend with "I Was Made For Fucking You".

I was disgusted by that song then, and I am still disgusted by it.

Hmph...a fucking rock band who WILLINGLY plays disco music?

That is a fucking disgrace to rock musicians everywhere....
