    sammys one song

    come on and admit it name one hagar song with van halen you enjoy....me...its poundcake i have a soft spot there.i like that song. that and dreams is ok. i dont really like any other hagar songs.. poundcakes solo by ed was great and spambos vocals were pretty good except his voice did crack a bit on the high notes...


    whats your favorite (if any hagar songs) come on admit it.....

                              Don't think 'enjoy' is quite the right word.

                              Some of the Van Hagar stuff from strictly a guitar POV was so-so. Virtually none of the Sam Halen tunes made me want to learn how to play them, with the sole exception being the title track to 5150. Ed's work on that was fairly decent.

                              Sorry, Dude. Nothing Sam has come up with has elicited a response such as "wow, that was a great lyric", or "what a great vocal performance". Strictly Ho-Hum City.
