Can someone explain the paramedic thing to me?

What does anybody know about Dave and his new job??? How the hell did he get into this line of work? Does his ambulance play "Somebody Get Me A Doctor" instead of a siren?

Is Dave hoping that one day he'll get called to EVH's(with his myriad of medical problems) house, so he can refuse to treat him?? (jokes people)

Wouldn't YOU find it slightly disturbing if Dave rocked up to the sight of YOUR accident/illness??? As much as i've always loved Diamond Dave, I KNOW I WOULD!!!

DAVE's father was a doctor (a surgeon I believe) and was an ARMY vet. Dave was an orderly in an LA trauma center before Van HALEN while he attended college and was always told by his father that he should render some form of public service. Having never served in the Military, DAVE thought this was the next best thing evidently.
