Vr On Live 8

anyone see velvet revolver on live 8. i did, i think scott's vocals sucked. duff was stoned but bass sounded good...i didnt hear him sing. whats his face...dave i think it is was ok...and slash kicked ass as usual going off stage into the pit to solo for the crowd and cameras. i liked the who the best out of all the performances...but slash did kick ass. good job!

anyone else see these shows...what did you guys (or girls) think of the rock half of live 8 ..ididnt care for the pop/rap side....

VR were pretty KICK ASS I think. You have to remember that performances don't come across as well on TV/Radio or whatever. Also, they wern't playing in front of THEIR audience, they were kind of rushed on and off, they probably didn't have as much time to warm up for the gig, plus, they were probably nervous as fuck.

The Who were good , and Robbie Williams for crowed stimulation .

Floyd was grate , Gilmour played his ' Blackie ' throughout and Waters actually looked like he had some respect for the others .

Probably the last time ever .
