les pauls or strats

I love the tone from a good Les Paul but I can't play well on one for anything. So if I had to choose it would be a Strat.

But I do like the contoured body on strats...and the middle pickup.

It's hard to get funky on a Les Paul for some reason.

I love 'em both, so I can't decide on which I like better. Two different tones and feels, but they're both so damn good.
