I stumpled accross this website www.vhtrading.com. It's free but, you need to register. Anyway this link http://www.vhtrading.com/vault/1984-01.jpg is an official document dated 08/24/83 for the final 1984 record tracks. Some tracks are # (3) Baritone slide (4) Lie to You (5) Ripley (7) Any Time, Any Place.
Tracks yet to cut = (1) Forget 1 (2) 5150 Special (3) Anything to Make it Right.
I Know about Ripley & Any Time, Any Place. But, does anyone have any info on the remaining songs? I hope some day these songs will be in circulation. God knows how many more Dave songs VH is sitting on...

Enjoy,
Pet

Nice find. . .I wonder how many of those songs appeared in a bastardized form on 5150.

THere's a ton of cool info to check out Scott has up. The tour riders are awesome, and quite a bit of filming and recording documentation, including Oakland 81.

"Anything to make it right" sure doesn't sound like a Dave title to me....even as just a "working title".

I bet that track made it to 5150.

and it says "Synth" after it....

...It actually sounds like a title that should have been on VHIII.

Well, it'll be worth the listen, anyway...I was unaware of any of these, except for the Ripley thing...that I've got on That's All Folks...
