    Some great bass players!

I've been learning Bass guitar for the past 2 years now and over the course of that time, I've studied other bass players. Here are a list of some great bass players and if you have any others to contribute please do so.

Les Claypool (The Clash) Listen to some of the bass intros.

Steve Harris (Iron Maiden) Seeing this guy in action is an experience. The galloping fingers and rythum adds a lot to the songs.

John Entwistle (The Who) Yeah, it's really crappy to see such a genius pass on, but at least we have the albums and videos of this legend to remind us.

Mark King (Level 42) Don't laugh on this one! Just...watch ANY level 42 video and your jaw will drop when you see this man in action. Thumb-slapping like a jackhammer! If you think you could bass-slap, watch this guy.

Leland Sklar (session bass player) Probably one of the most solid session bass players out there. Worked notably with Phil Collins on all
his stuff. Actually, listen to Sussudio because it has a bass plugged into a computer and one cool bass bit.

John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) Basically a very solid bass player.

If you have any others to contribute, please go ahead.
