Maker of Atkins diets files for bankruptcy

Remember Mezro's donation drive where he claimed you could afford to donate to the Army if you can afford Atkins diet products? Well, you can use that money toward an Army contribution now. LOL

I never trusted Atkins based on that sentence, "But it also drew criticism from experts for its focus on fatty foods and low fruit and vegetable consumption.

I personally believe the good nutritional powders (not the ones with sugar in them) along with a healthy diet is the correct way to go. After all, didn't we learn in grade school that you are what you eat?

I was going to try it, but my weight issues aren't really enough to concern myself with...I've got a gut, yeah, but I'm maybe 10 pounds overweight, tops, nothing that regular exercise wouldn't cure. Hardly worth dieting. My metabolism is pretty quick, still, I burn off most everything I put in me.
    Twistin' by the pool.
