I don't own an Acoustic guitar.

For a reason.

Electric...
Although most guitarists play both.

Unless I'm playing something that requires an electric guitar, I'll play acoustic.

Mostly because a lot of times, I can't always lug around an amp, or have a place to plug one in.

Acoustic guitars can travel a lot more places a electric can't.

Whenever I write a song, I will write one on an acoustic, before switching to electric, and start developing from the skeleton.

Both are good for different reasons. But electric solos are unbeatable.

I enjoy playing electric a hell of a lot more than acoustic..but I do enjoy them both. With electric I get to tinker with textures and tones, and on acoustic there is no mystery to what you can do.

I can make my electrics sound like accoustics. Electrics tend to have better feeling necks and are more ergonamic. Accoustics are great when you don't have electricity but they are a one trick pony.
