Hmmmm...couple things......oil it a bit.......I'm gonna have to look at mine first TJ before I can explain it....I'll be home in about an hour & 1/2.
I think I had the same problem...probably a quick fix.

Are you sure you're pulling it all the way out? It sounds like it's not all the way out.

Where you fine tune the D-Tuna, there is a lot of play?

right...push it down & pull back(sounds kinda kinky!)....

The bridge saddle should raise slightly.......

loosen the fine tuner until it just rest on the thread...then turn it a quarter turn....tune that string to D.........

I mean I have those D-Tunas on 5 of my guitars, so I think I am pretty well versed in them, and I've never heard it not dropping when you pull it all the way out.

It almost sounds like you have the fine tuners on the Floyd and the D-Tuna so tight that you can't pull it all the way out.

Try what Matt said.

try raising the side left side of the floyd, (looking at the body first and neck away) then back down to where it was again.

It doesn't sound like it would work, but it actually fixes a lot of problems.

I think he has the fine tuner cranked all the way down........

I fucking love the DAVID LEE ROTH-Tuna!!!

Put one on the guitar in my sig!!!

what is a d-tuna?

Basically it's a device that you fit to your Floyd (low E) that allow's you to drop from an E to a D (and back) in an instant.

What you could always do is email them at

info@dtuna.com

If you have it all the way out then you may have a broken saddle or leaf spring.

It is if your Peavey Floyd copy is made exactly like a real Floyd. Most of the licensed bridges are, but I have heard of some compatability issues with some. You may have to contact Peavey on the situation.

Let's see, you're stuck in E...so that means the string lock screw is in the down position, thus keeping tension on that string. It really sounds like the spring plate is broken to me, because the spring is not pushing the string lock screw to its "normal" position, which is of course the D note.

Try these links when looking for parts.

Like I said, these Floyd replacement parts may not be compatible with the Peavey bridge, but it isn't hard to shoot them an email and ask.

I'd ask them beacuse the Peavey bridge is a little different than a regular Floyd or a licensed Floyd.

Another thing is the saddle could be just stuck...take the string off and see if you can move the saddle. Maybe a little machine oil or something can help you free it up. I'd follow Brett's advice on contacting Peavey, since he knows more about that Wolfgang bridge than I. All of my Floyds are originals.

WD-40.

I don't see any use in the D-Tuna, personally.

ok i think i found what was wrong

under the bridge in the back, their are 6 little peices o thin metal that
come out and bend up, (one for every string). well the one on the E string, was bent, all the way down...

so i bent it back up, and every thing seems fine.....

Agreed ... I actually ended up taking the dtuna out of my wolfie because well, all I play is in D, and the fact that if you want a wolfie to FLOAT and get some true wails it needs to be taken out ...

If you play in Drop D a lot, it comes in extremely handy, especially live.

That would have been my next thought, but I assumed you had already looked at that. Yes that piece needs to have tension on the screw for you to be able to switch in and out of Drop D.

Ah ha, so it is as I originally thought...the spring plate. :D
