    What are these EVH guitars?

Has anyone ever seen Ed use these guitars in the foreground? (I know you can barely see them in the pic.)

Thanks for the info. I just realized that I've seen the doubleneck before, but those kramers were a mystery. Did he actually use them at shows? I thought he stuck to the "frankenstrat" or the VH II guitar.

Probably did at some point, I guess. Like many other guitarists.

...They were basically back-ups, from what I understand...much like the guitar from the 'Unchained' video you never saw again...

I was told he used one or two of those Kramer-stripes on an east coast leg of an 81 or 82 tour. There's a pic or two out there I've seen, they look like colored electrician's tape, not paint stripes.

The one on the far left is a Boogie Bodies parts guitar, not a Kramer. The one in the middle is the purple Kramer he played onstage with Allan Holdsworth in a club. At the time it didn't have stripes. The stripes are electrical tape.

Known as the Rasta guitars. Gars right about the stripes, it's electrical tape not paint on them. One of them stated life as a Purple Kramer Pacer, (I'm not sure what the other one is).
