Backstreet Boys and Van Halen?

Today I was watching MTV (don't ask me why) and TRL was on. They were premiering the new Backstreet Boys video. Yes, shockingly enough they are still around.

Anyways, the concept of the video was that they were an '80s hair band called Sphincter. There was one scene where they were tailgating outside a concert and some guy had on a hat with the classic VH logo. Made the video so much better.

Anyone else see this?

I'm hoping it means that they're CVH fans. Then again, it is the Backstreet Boys, so I doubt it.

You can tell just by watching that part of the video that it wasn't referring to the Sammy era.

I caught some of that video and I turned it off...the way I took it was they were MAKING FUN of hard rock acts. Maybe I take things too personally but I'm a fucking ROCKER and that was a slap in the face. Fuck the BAckstreet boysand their "god please let us have one more radio friendly hit" mentality.
