My wife's uncle is Emi Gonzalez and he was tapped today by President Bush as Immigration head for Homeland security, as the article below shows. I respect him very much as a person and the times I have spent with him have been really informative to me personally and politically. I realize many on the boards hate the President or at the very least detest him. However, please understand that your information is probably not coming from those closest to the President himself. I am convinced that Bush is a very decent and honorable man, nothing like what many see him as.

Just remember we all have opinions of DLR himself and very few actually know him. Who he is may or may not be what we think of him. Opinions are simply that...opinions.

Having spent a lot of time with a geniunely concerned and patriotic uncle-in-law over the years, I am convinced Bush is not the half-brained idiot, nor the out of touch leader with no plan he is many times painted as....

Peace
