    New RUSH DVD!

Rush will be releasing a new DVD called "R30" in late fall.

The band recorded their sold out show in Frankfurt, Germany in October 2004 on their 30th anniversary tour.

Having seen one of those shows myself I can safely say that this will be amazing.

Hopefully another live CD will acompany this but there are no details.

Also Neil Peart will release a DVD of his specialist drum skills entitled "A work in progress" around the same time.

    Awesome!

Although I didn't get Rush in Rio DVD, I heard that one was pretty good.

It will difficult for them to top Rush in Rio which I think was maybe a better setlist.

The show I saw was a great gig although the audience were pretty shit.

Rush do have a strict "no festival seating" (i.e. no standing) policy which makes it hard to get a real rowdy, atmosphere generating crowd.

It`s more like being at the pictures than a concert.

I think with the different songs, this DVD will make a good acompanyment to "Rush in Rio".

            Was an excellent set list.

They played "By-Tor" for the first time in 20 years.

            And the crowd was insane.

The set for this one will be cool also as this time we`ll get "Xanadu", "Red Barchetta", "Force ten", "Subdivisions", "Between the wheels", "Mystic rhythms", the "R30 medley" etc.

And that film at the start where that guy complains that they never play "A passage to Bangkok" then reappears headbanging when they do play it.

Yes, I`m looking forward to this.

Great. Love Rush. Missed the last tour, but I was in Manchester looking for The Manchester Academy for a future gig the day they played in Manchester and saw them leaving their hotel for soundcheck, but my dad wouldn't stop the car.

I think the thing that made Rush in Rio so good though was the Rio audience. Brazilian audiences are the best in the world. It was great to hear 40000 people singing along to the instrumental YYZ.
