David Lee Roth. The King Of Swing.

I was daydreaming on the way home from work yesterday and came up with this idea.

Dave to hook up with Brian Setzer and his orchestra to put out a swing record. I know Dave has dabbled with this in the past but I think bringing on the great talent of Brian and having Dave do all the vocals, with the exception of a duet or two w/Brian, would be pretty awesome.

    The tracks could consist of:

    Jump, Jive and Wail
    Rock this town
    Your the boss (w/Ronnie Spector)
    Let's live it up
    New York, New York
Summer Wind ( Dave doin' this song, FUCK YES!)

    The list is endless.

We're probably not talkin' gold or platinum here, but how fresh and cool would this be?

The Setzer influence would be good if Dave wanted a swing type
feel to some songs they are somewhat similar in their background of forging your own way.

But i think Dave can put together a band of his own.He did back in the 90s .Big Brass band

I don't want to see him doing the "swing thing"...too many did and dave could say "been there done that"...he's a blues man and I'd like to hear a blues album with an allstar blues band!

Dave with Johnny Winter, Buddy Guy, BB King & Friends...Dave doing lead vocals and Blue Harp....that would be an Album and/or Concert I wouldn't miss for the world.

How do we get in touch w/ Dave's Manager these days to plant this SEED????? This idea is too good to pass up! Since Dave loves the blues, I think he'd be just as enthusiastic to bring this kind of show to us Die-hards...
