the band is hosting a FREE download of a past gig every month. Octobers show is from Middletown, NY June 17, 1994 (I was there!!) and is a SUPERIOR quality sounding boot!!

Go get it...

'94 was a good tour. Really aggressive playing, lots of classic old material...really a polar opposite to some of the over-epic Snake tour shows. The Woodstock gig is really awesome...a good find on VHS or DVD if anyone can find it.

I wish more bands would do this sort of thing. The Kiss shows did really well, but I like the download idea, and flac for sure. If I'm gonna pay for something, it better not be an mp3.

www.wildthingspost.tk litterally thousands of Metallica bootlegs, and most people there can find anything you're looking for dating back to '82

James still sang.

John Marshall from Metal Church picked up the guitar duties while James healed.

Are you kidding? Since James shot his old voice recording TBA pretty much everything to come from Metallica was shit.

Sounds good, but sucks that they don't have any audience mikes...

Middletown NY? Was that the old Orange County Fairgrounds? Saw some good shows up there, but not Metallica. A friend of mine roadied for the Fairgrounds one summer and had some funny stories about the bands that played. But that's for another thread.
