PRS guitars have a great feel to them, but other than that I'm not a big fan of the tone..at least of the ones I've played. I guess part of me says, "why not just play a Les Paul."

Way too expensive for me and not impressive at all...

I walk right past them in every music store...

They are build for a Santana style of playing, and that's not what we want. They look great though

No they don't...

Nothing about them really ever jumped out at me. Plus Carlos Santana is a bonifide nutjob who just fired his assistant of many years because the assistant refused to give in to Carlos' quack Chiropractor who also was a spiritualist. When the quack told Carlos the dude wasn't spiritual enough, Carlos canned the dude.

So who in the hell would want to pose as Carlos Santana and play a Paul Reed Smith like he does?

Not me...

I don't know. I agree to disagree, how about that? The Les Paul I would say is my favorite guitar. However, a McCarty with the Brazilian Neck sounds pretty money.. Gorgeous guitar as well and plays very nicely...

i am biased, grew up in the same town and went to the same high school as paul reed smith , same as kathy lee gifford btw also ! god what misery !!!i i like the guitars ,but most people say that the pre '94 hand built ones cant be beat and everything since 95 suck ,but they are way too expensive!!!!!! play well but not worth the price tag at all !!!

I've played tons of them in my music retail days, I have friends who swear by 'em...I just can't get into them. Plus I could build 10 of my parts mutts for what I'd pay for ONE of them....

Walk right by 'em in the store, do nothing for me.

Gimme an old Pacer Imperial anyday.

Way over priced. I've played one and it was used. Not bad but the Les Paul comment was my thought too. Neal Schon plays one of the originals and it sounds great in his hands but then that's just Neal.

Do they still have ducks on the fretboard?
