    Did EVH choose Van Hagar. Because thats all he can play now ?

    Serioulsy, I was thinking about this. With Dave he would have had to kick some serious ass and play like a posessed man in his 20's again. We all know that Hagar music is far more simplified, and better
    suited to an ageing Rocker who's fingers arent what they used to be.

    Or perhaps it was Alice ?

                  Yeah ! You know what sucks even more. We all know that Hagar and Eddie hated each others guts, yet Ed decides he can work with Spammy again. If you are going to go through that process, why the fuck not do it with the original band ? And finally give the fans what they want...

                              Im sure everyone can still play just as good as they used to. Its just second nature when your a musician. Im sure Ed can rip the old tunes like never before in fact. The problem here is, they chose Sam, because Sam + Van Halen equal love ballets for the radio. Radio = sponsership and generates excitement for tours. = money. Alot.
                              Im not saying Dave doesn't equal money. I think the original band equals alot more than anything Sam can do. But Ed and Al arn't in it to please the fans and make some coin. They are in it for themselves and the record co. Dave's better off not shilling himself with a nastolgic performance with Ed and the crew. Or double lead singer shit. Thats just a crcok too. Dont even get me started on that shit.

                                                  Well the last report we had of Ed playing live was NAMM. And the report was that he couldnt even pull off the intro to MeanStreet, (If my booze addled memory serves me correctly)
