MTV is about as lame as you can get since this cable music channel " ruined " rock & roll & pop culture in general as we know it for the youth since it went on the on the air back in 81. Van Halen never needed MTV in the first place so who cares if MTV ignores the VH reunion because kids today don't know who Eddie Van Halen is anyway.

You say that kids nowadays don't listen to Van Halen? I know people younger than I am who do!

I do say that kids nowadays don't listen to Van Halen or know who Eddie is much less Dave or those days when they ruled the rock world. If kids younger than you are listening to VH & know who VH is at all, it's amazing.

Yeah boy, they are outselling Prince, who would have ever thought. Outselling old, tired, sell out Aerosmith and Metallica, neither of whom have done an album worth shit but keep touring til this day.

John Mayer? Phil Collins? Gee, how do they do it?

I have read the list. And that is my point exactly. They are out-selling nobody, nothing. It's no big accomplishment. As in, big fucking deal.

Who are they out-selling that is so impressive?

Aerosmith? Been touring with Kiss, saturated.
Metallica? Give me a break, saturated, St Anger sucks IMO.
The Eagles? Hell froze over, not a novelty anymore, yawn.

Of course they are going to sell some, just like they did when 5150 came out.

You aren't making any significant point with this list you've post how many times today already.

Weren't you finished here?

Big Troubles

You'll find LSD never really quite finishes up. Oh, here he comes now with his list...Look out!!! LOL sad little spremmy follower. Like jumping up and down in the corner begging for attention. "Look at me, look at me" Dude, relax. Settle your self before you soil yourself. Vhagar is doing fine. Thats great news for ya Im sure. But the point is, they aren't impressive on that list full of shit acts. And trust me...If it were Dave they'd be selling faster and three times the amount. Now sit down and take your meds.

04-21-2004, 04:32 PM
Yeah Im excited about the priest reunion myself. Hoping they will be going back to the metal for the new stuff.
Van Hagar isn't really news, that's why it's not advertised anywhere. It's blah, without Dave. Prob why they use Dave songs to sell Van Hagar tix. :D

again -- a well-known band name that hasn't toured for forever outselling bands that tour every, if not every other, year.

and there was a story about "rock-moments"...they had all the classic pics of jagger, beatles, elvis and...guess who? the diamond one walking off stage with the midgets and a bottle of jack...I somehow was missing the capri pants...
