    Dave found a way to leave Ed, Al and Spammy in the dust...

    "I'll be performing for more people in one morning than the Rolling Stones will in an entire summer."

    I know a lot of Dave's fans were split on this move, but I think Dave found a way to climb back to the top. We wanted to see him return to form, but he's already been a rock star. He could never top what he accomplished between 1978-1984. That Dave will reign eternally on the VH sixpack. Personally I think this increases the possibility that we'll hear more great recordings! This gig puts Dave right where he wants to be RIGHT NOW! And at his age, with his personality, wit, wisdom, and charm... sky's the limit folks.

    The world is about to rediscover what we never forgot!

              Light me up one...cause I have a feeling It's time to celebrate too. Dave is back in the spotlight and I'm happy for him. He deserves it. I think this is exactly what he needs to get more fans and more publicity. He went through a lot with the press after the breakup and ever since. It's always a cheap shot to roth when we all know the press was sucking his dick back in 85'. Now don't get me wrong...If this doesnt go well for Dave it could bite him in the ass...but c'mon...REAL fans know that with his personality and charisma he's gonna do just fine. He's fuckin funny! Now he gets to take the stage raps and bring them to the air. The guy is a walking book of information..from music..to film...to other cultures the guy has done it all. Good luck Diamond Dave...I'm behind you 100%!!!!

                  Well said, Light 'em up! 5-stars for you for echoing my sentiments perfectly. Dave in the spotlight is better than Dave begging for comps at indian casinos.

                      I'm bummed the show won't be on in LA. We're stuck with Adam Carrolla, apparently. But if this does do well, the straight-up DEMAND for a reunion will increase, undoubtedly. If (and WHEN) the VH camp sees it go well, and Dave's popularity again skyrockets....they'd almost have to go for it....


                      Personally I think he should have Ed, Al and Mike as his first GUESTS !! Can you imagine "So....Why ARE you guys delaying the inevitable?" LOL
