Grate news for Dark Tower fans

According to the official Stephen King website, Marvel comics will be issuing a (what is pretty sure to be VERY) graphic novel (or series of comics that will become a novel I'm sure) based on books 1-7 of King's "Dark Tower" series.

In addition to following the storyline, apparently the books are also going to include ORIGINAL and UNTOLD stories in the mix, most of which will apparently relate to Roland's youth and his wanderings after the events of Wizard and Glass and before the events of The Gunslinger...meaning we'll get to see Gilead fall to John Farson, more details of the last stand at Jericho Hill, and probably some more insight as to what the fuck Roland was doing for twenty years after that and before the first line of The Gunslinger...

    ...finally!

I believe the press release is over at http://www.stephenking.com

Tower fans, rejoice! We're not done yet!

By the way, make sure you're around in mid-November for a special guest appearance by none other than ALAN THE PANTHER.

There's also yet another version of The Gunslinger coming out with Little Sisters of Euloria added in. No release/on sale date yet, but keep an eye on grantbooks.com to order it.
