I don't listen to a lot of talk radio so I rarely hear Dave on the radio unless it is music. I usually see him on TV when he is the person being interviewed. I have never seen him interview someone else. I know he owns (or at least in the past) several radio stations.
I was just curious what background he had as a talk radio host. I assume to have landed a big gig like taking over Howard Stern's show that Infinity Broadcasting would have signed him only if he was a well known quantity in talk radio.
