Hagarita and the Drunk Dutchmen are pimping guitars, sunglasses, booze, tampons, etc. Is there anything not for sale? Didn't they even have a commercial on one of those trainwrecks they call albums that pimped the gay bar in Mexico? Is this a band or fucking Wal-Mart?
Is there something they're not selling?

Well, regardless of my own and fully biased opinion there is one thing that should be taken into consideration by all. Eddie has stated that he has ten albums worth of material. So why in the fuck is he only releasing two songs and touring behind them? So hypocritical. Jeez, you'd think someone who's been woodshedding for this many years might have something to bring to the table? All of these people rip on Dave for touring and playing nothing but VH songs (WHICH HE FUCKING HELPED TO WRITE!!!!) and now Ed is going to come out of hibernation and tour behind TWO FUCKING SONGS?!?!?!?!?

Well, he did it in 1998 and it sure sounds like he's doing it again. Except this time with the "nostalgia" called Van Hagar that most could care less about.
I still crack up because I've only heard this tour mentioned once on the local radio stations, they made fun of it and played "Unchained." I dunno, I'm sure it will sell but I think everyone is in for a reality check. IMO. It's just not "big" news?Last edited by MAX; 03-29-2004, 02:24 AM.EAT US AND SMILE!!!!Comment

I'm kinda curious if they'll have a main sponsor for the tour like they do frequently nowadays....
Ya know, for example, "Van Halen with Sammy Hagar, sponsored by Velveeta"....
Just an example, of course....Eat Us And Smile - The Originals

Ok.....I'll bite...
Here is a complete list of Billboard's #1 songs from 1976. That was considered a pretty good year for music don't ya think?
1976
Bay city Rollers>Saturday Night #1 (January 1 week)
Convoy>C.W. McCall #1 (January 1 week)
I write the songs> Barry Manilow (January 1 week)
Theme From Mahogany> Diana Ross (January 1 week)
Love rollercoaster> Ohio Players (February 1 week)
50 Ways To Leave Your Lover> Paul Simon (February 3 Weeks)
Theme From SWAT> Rhythm Heritage (March 1 week)
Love Machine>The Miracles (March 1 week)
December, 1963>The Four Seasons (March 3 weeks)
Disco Lady>Johnnie Taylor (April 4 weeks)
Let You Love Flow> Belamy Brothers (May 1 week)
Get the idea?
There is a star studded lineup of songs if I've ever seen one, eh?
Shit man, I think I'll burn that CD right now, it kicks ass!
The bottom line is that Charts don't mean jack. But since it's important to you for some reason, I'm sure you're aware the ONLY #1 Van Halen song was Jump. Sung by the Diamond one himself. Sammy never even got close to a number one song.
As for the Albums....yeah they had #1 albums on the top 200 Billboard ALBUM charts, big whoop.Comment
