    Country Music

Just curious if anyone here gets into it. I like it. It's a nice change from the Rock-n- Roll from time to time.
There are those that do and those that don't. Those that didn't see what those that did had done and wish they had especially when "She looked so F#*kin GOOD"

Moving this to the House of Music...

    not a main topic...
"Van Halen was one of the most hallelujah, tailgate, backyard, BBQ, arrive four hours early to the gig just for the parking lot bands. And still to this day is. It's an attitude. I think it's a spirit more than anything else is."

Not too fond of much of today's country, but the old-time stuff takes a lot of talent to play well.

Gimme some old school like Hank Sr., Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings anytime.

Garth Brooks was good. Put on one Hell of a live show. It's too bad he retired.

Since he quit, country seems to have morphed into a propaganda arm of the neocon agenda with all this "boot in the ass - let's kill some towelheads and then get drunk" dumbass songs.

At least Willie Nelson is keeping the faith (when he's not doing reggae albums anyway)

As far as Dwight goes, y'all should check out "This Time" and "Under the Covers." The latter tis' nothing but cover songs and it is stellar.

                            I fucking hate it.
