HOLY SHIT...I forgot how hard that dude rips...he played a show with Black Oak Arkansas the day before my band did at a club in WV in the mid-80s (back when he was skinny!) We (me and the only two other hotshot guitarists in the state)were all floored. He ripped that hard even back then, but the B.O.A. gig didn't really show his full range......frickin' MONSTER.

This thread made me download some Shawn Lane stuff...
To me, he lacks the fire that Yngwie has, or early Edward had...

Sure, Yngwie has done the same thing over the years, but I can remember many of his songs, and my jaw still drops when I see him live, even though he's fat now...
