My kids are actually turning their mother on to new stuff that I would NEVER thought I would listen to. Am I getting old or what?! :confused:

Gold Digger by Kanye West and Jamie Foxx...

My Hump by Black Eyed Peas....

That song by the group Fall Out Boys...

All of that Green Day stuff (My daughter listens to that)

Kelly Clarkson (My daughter again....lol)

God Smack stuff...(my boy likes these guys)

I'll listen to anything in the car, radio-wise. Still keep up with what's current that way. Some of it is catchy. Started messing around the dail in the car about a decade ago when I got tired of the classic rock stations beating the same classic rock songs into the fucking ground.

Lot of that stuff you mentioned IS catchy, but virtually none of it resonates with me five seconds after the song ends.

Ohh today's music SUCKS. Velvet Revolver is the only good thing out today... But I would not really count them as modern... Simply because everybody except one guy from that band is from an older one. (Guns N' Roses and Stone Temple Pilots)

Tokyo Dragons are a great modern band, imo....I you like Motorhead you'll like them.....
