View Full Version : 2004 New Years Eve - Hollywood's House of Blues

I told this story to LOONS the Great and never thought to share, but here's what happened:

Went to Hollywood's Sunset Strip to see DLR ring in 2004...I went with 2 female friends. As the anticipation and excitement for DLR to hit the stage began, I soon found myself standing next to a couple with their matching DLR/Jack Daniels' Logo'd Tees that turned out to be exhibitionists!

As DLR came on stage, the girl lifted up her top to show her "Fakes"....it got DLR's attention and soon the Security guy brought this girl a plastic hawaiian lei (compliments of DLR)...needlesstosay, she loved it!! It evidently revved her up enough that soon she appeared as though she dropped something on the floor and only held a grip on her cocktail in one hand in plain view, but it took her awhile to come up for air, if you know what I mean......well, by now, part of the audience has also caught on to what was going on next to me and they began to focus their attention on this couple amusingly.

Keep in mind, as this is all taking place, DLR is on stage giving an awesome performance.

Next thing I know, this couple is doing "the deed"! The guy was behind her and you can figure out the visual. At this point, 1/2 the audience is watching DLR and the other 1/2 is glued to watching this couple, including Security.

At the conclusion, 1 of my friend's who is a seasoned Concert Go'er says she has never seen this happen, and the other friend told me that I should NEVER invite her to another DLR Concert again.

DOES ANYONE REMEMBER THIS INCIDENT.....WERE YA THERE TO WITNESS THIS CRAZINESS ? I will never forget this performance by DLR and the "Odd Couple"..

Well that beats getting Drunk and starting a Brawl.

I read a short story one time about a Planet were once a week at some uncertain time some signal would go off and everyone
everywhere would stop what they were doing, at work, on the sidewalk,
where-ever and commence to fornicatin.

Ahhh Love isn't it Bliss?!!

But no, It wasn't me and I had not heard that story. Seen it ,at other
concerts. Yes, but never a Indoor event.

Yeah...I went to Ozzfest, and some guy was going down on some girl in front of everyone in Lawn Section...

I've heard of this happening at an Offspring concert before (indoor). Apparently the band stopped playing, and had all their lights put onto the couple so that the whole arena could see what was going on.
