The thread in question WAS a legitmate topic as it stood originally, but it had long died and dropped to the graveyard of old threads.

Then it was resurrected by someone who appears to be a TROLL by all reliable estimations. And as trolls do, that person proceded to turn this thread into something that resembled a rant from www.klansmenwhofucktheirsisters.com.

The owner of this website has made very few rules. One of the few is that he doesn't tolerate racism. Neither do I. This forum exists for the discussion of valid political topics. That would include a discussion of race relations, or what causes problems between "races" or whatever. It doesn't include "I hate NI***RS because they talk funny"

So I closed the thread, which was the proper thing to do. And that's where it should have ended.

If you have a problem with racist hate being closed, take it up with your local Grand Wizard.

I read the thread. I've already said that I didn't see how it was racist. BBB started out by posting an article written by somebody else called "Exterminate Whitey." A few of the comments were borderline but certainly not terrible, in my opinion. I've seen FAR worse at this board.

I read the thread AFTER ELVIS reopened it. In fact, I quoted ELVIS's post and made one of my own. I came back later in the day to see if there were any replies, and the thread was nowhere to be found.

It doesn't matter WHEN you deleted it. A thread should NEVER be deleted, in my opinion. Where are these "guidelines" set by "Sarge himself"? The only guideline I am SURE that Sarge has is that deleting posts and threads is GAY. Please show me where Sarge has said it's OK to delete a thread containing a few racist comments. :rolleyes:
