Bradley "mushroom boy" $tarks was the previous dictator (and contest fixer) of the Van Halen Mailing List which was the worlds first digital soap opera, even before the 1996 reunion fiasco.

He set up van-halen.com as an unofficial site in 1996, as the band had an official site through WB records at the time. The Warner site was launched to promote the Best of Vol I album and remained online until shortly after the release of Van Danniels III, when the overwhelmingly negative reaction to the shitty album from fans such as myself caused WB to pull the plug on the site

Soon after that , the band and Ray Danniels bought into $tarks' site and made it official. The Pasture Dump was added to the site in October 2000, I believe. The board was famous for banning anyone who dared to believe Van Hagar and Van Danniels were lesser beings than the Mighty Van HALEN. I wear my 3 bannings as badges of honor (And that's not counting my two friends from Heaven and Hell!)
