If you still had it i bet it would be worth a lot more than $3.

My 1:st one was Sweet "Give Us A Wink", a killer album at least at that time. I bought it second-hand, with money earned from collecting cans when I was 8 - 9.

I was about 8 years old: KISS ALIVE II. Played the hell out of it too. Then I stopped listening to Kiss when I was about 10 or 11. didnt even think about them for decades. Then in '96 someone gave me free tix to a reunion show. I remember walking up to the coliseum thinking it was going to suck. Well they hit the stage and I spent the rest of the night yelling the words to all the songs at the top of my lungs. I was amazed I remembered all the lyrics for so long. Great night!

I see. I think I still dig nearly all the records I had back when I was a kid.
Including the Bee Gees? Err... Ahem! Hell, no. But if I heard it again, then the 8-year-old hidden somewhere inside would surely be merry. :D

The KI$$ album came with a sticker of the album cover too that I plastered on the side of my nice, antique wooden desk. Got a spankin' for that one and not the good kind. :o ;)

Even though it's shorter, personally, I like "Classics Live" better. The version of "Train Kept A Rollin'" is just awesome.

First 45" I can remember buying was the 70's garage rock anthem "Smokin in the Boys Room" by The Brownsville Station. I was like 7 or 8 years old and bought it at a hippie record store at the mall that also sold a number of objects which, at the time, I had no idea what they were used for. I don't think my parents were happy with the record OR where I bought it.

Iron Maiden's Number of the Beast was the first thing I went and bought for myself.

Maiden were also the first band I really liked that were "mine," in that they weren't something musical-taste-wise I'd inherited from my parents or got from friends.

All because one day I heard Run to the Hills.

First live album I ever actually owned was this one, given to me as a birthday gift. Although KISS Alive was a staple in the neighborhood, I didn't actually own a copy until after I got this album.

1st album I purchased with my own money was VanHalen-WACF, and 2nd was Judas Priest-British Steel. 1st live album, KISS ALIVE. I will probably get razzed for this, but my 1st ever album was Elvis- Moody Blue. It was pretty cool, because the vinyl record was the color blue. A definite collector's item.

Alright, I was raised on hard rock and heavy metal, but the first CD I ever bought was Phil Collens-No Jacket Required, I was 11. First live tape was at age 3, my dad bought AC/DC-Live. As for live videos, it was Def Leppard-In the Round, In Your Face
