Ripleys. Believe it or Not!

Tim Burton and Jim Carrey are in talks with Alphaville's Jim Jacks and Sean Daniel to direct and star in, respectively, BELIEVE IT OR NOT!

The film will center on the exploits of Robert Ripley, a sport cartoonist who ran out of ideas and turned to the world of the strange and unusual. Ripley became a larger-than-life personality in the '30s and '40s, well-known for going around the world looking for oddities and getting into adventures while doing so.

Sounds cool, although I'd rather see a big screen adaptation of "That's Incredible!" starring Woody Harrelson as Fran Tarkenton.

Now that would be sweet!!

I went to a Ripley's museum on Prince Edward Island here in Canada.
Pretty cool place.
