    311

Do we got any 311 fans here at the Roth Army?
I just bought the new Don't Tread On Me disc.
    Fucking awesome.
Ain't nothin' like rollin' up a phat joint and listenin' to this band.
They're probably one of my favorite bands to emerge out of LA in the last 15 years.

Here's their cover of the cure's love song.

Well...I guess I'll be the first!! To start off...hello WARF how are thee? Hope all is well by you...I have no doubt you're rockin and rollin and keepin' cool! I used to be really into these cats from 94-2000. My favorites are their old stuff...."MUSIC" " , "GRASSROOTS" which is my favorite...and 311 with the blue alien head. Down is a great song. After transister I kinda tuned out...how's the new shit? I'm always tempted to buy but........

Their new album is a return to the GRASSROOTS sound.
I just got it... need to listen to it a few more times.
It doesn't have much rap in it.
      Alot more SKA.

Well they beat the shit out of Scott Stapp, and that's reason alone for buying all of they're albums.

But they emerged from the LA bar scene due to the frontbill efforts of FISHBONE!

That's good to hear! To be honest...I was getting sick of the rap shit. At times...it sounded goofy..ya know? I'll definately look into sampling some songs. Thanks brother!

Saw them play in the late 90s on a club tour. Was not impressed.

They were playing arenas only a year and a half later.

                Headlining.
