So I FINALLY got around to watching "Weird Science" yesterday (I know, I'm only 15 years late or so...), and when they were creating the girl, they inserted a photo of David and something called "Dave TV" was on their television...

What exactly was Dave TV? An MTV thing? I apparently missed that back in the day entirely...don't hate me, I was probably banging somebody at the time...

Most importantly, is there anywhere to see it in it's entirety?

Hahaha...yeah...I don't even know if they show the long (maybe a minute long) Dave TV beginning in the music channels, it might only be shown on vid collections etc...just a guess.

As I remember, there wasn't any real mention of why they threw in the DLR references, although I imagine that would be it...and with what happened to the kids house by the end of the film, I'd imagine the "DLR Party" insertion worked rather well.

I get the feeling I'd have a crazed bunch of road warriors on motorcycles in my living room, a piano in the lake and a nuclear warhead in my house if Roth threw a party here by the end of the night.

Anyway, yeah the Dave TV thing was just part of the Crazy from the Heat videos. He had plans for it, but it never went anywhere. At about the same time as that happened, so did the breakup, and after that all bets were off, and he had to come back out swinging with his new band and put the TV and movie stuff off...

You're mistaken on TK being involved with the Big Ed thing. The Keepers aka Two Guys Who Do Ads, were running Dave's site well after that debacle happened. They quit being Dave's webmasters when they pulled a lawsuit on Dave for non-payment of services.

It is my belief that those two fucksticks also funded a site, of which I forget the name of, that was gunning for Army. It was a blatant ripoff of this one, because they were pissed that we got all of the traffic and Slawterhouse got shit. To think, they called us a "house of cards." Well guess who's still standing BITCH.

I can't believe I can't remember the name of that site. LOL

actually it is 2 from cfth and 2 from eeas.
it has the whole dave tv thing as well as the whole picasso brothers

Dave TV is the show that comes on at the begining of the "Just a Gigalo" Video. Here we see Dave playing a fictional "VJ" that has just finished playing the California Girls video.....when the Stagehand director yells for the sleeping VJ to wake up.....the rest is in the video.
