Just bought a disc off the street corner and its' PEARL JAM LIVE in '95! They cover RUNNIN' WITH THE DEVIL! Well it's Stone G. singing it and they kill it! more like just a jam session while playing RWD! Anyone hear this before? Other tha the crowd going crazy when the start the bass line the song sucks!

Over fucking rated band. About as exciting as Coldplay.

R.W.T.D. is probably too "metal" for King Vedder.

They're good at what they do. Liked Vs. way more than Ten, which wasn't bad either, but just way overplayed.

Can't say as I'd want to hear them doing any Van Halen, though.

I've heard that Pearl Jam version - didn't sound like it was something they had rehearsed at all. More like a spur of the moment thing.

does anyone really care about PJ and if they covered VH ?

they might have been cool when that suicide music came out and was big, but they are long forgot and I bet no one pulls out their old cd of TEN ! who the hell could listen to that crap now. that music was a fad. as bad as 80's pop. not the same catagory but as bad. no one listens to that shit now. its not like its classic rock that will always live on like Zep and VH.

kill this thread already. its old old news anyway and hardly VH related.

At the end of,"Yellow Ledbetter," in a show from Poland(probably 2000 or 2001-ish)...Mike McCready plays the riff to Dance The Night Away an' it sounds incredible!

COOL and I heard that if you put in 'Rear View Mirror 'and play it backwards while smashing your head against a wall it sounds like "Up For Breakfast!'

When the original Doors were inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame, the songs that they played with Eddie Vedder were tremendous.

People that think Pearl Jam 'lost it' after Ten are the same IDIOTS that think The Black Crowes 'lost it' after Shake Your Moneymaker.

they didnt lose it after TEN they never had it.

they were a fad like the rest of them. hence foo fighters.... no one cares anymore about them. that music is boring and long forgot like the backassboys.
